  1. This was a fantastic meeting and a wonderful opportunity for libraries to speak with the people who are in the best position to partner with them (administration, scientists, physicians, etc.). The meeting was small, giving everyone an opportunity to have more meaningful exchanges. There was a panel at the meeting of interest to libraries: Translational Research Support and Education: A Library-Based Approach. Panelists included Isaac Kohane, MD, PhD, from Harvard Medical School ; Karen Butter, ML, from UCSF; David Osterbur, PhD, MSLS, of Harvard Medical School; and Jean Song, MSI, from University Of Michigan. Kristi Holmes, PhD, from Becker Medical Library at Washington University School of Medicine (me) organized the panel. The directors and the librarians/informationisis had interesting and valuable perspectives to share. I learned a lot and was grateful for the opportunity to work with these wonderful panelists!

Let me know if you have any questions.
